[会议背景介绍]

The IEEE Photovoltaic Specialist Conference is proud to host the 7th edition of the World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-7). As it has been a tradition for nearly a quarter of a century, once every 4 years, three of world’s most prominent international photovoltaic technical conferences, the Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC), the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (EU PVSEC) and the IEEE Photovoltaic Specialist Conference (IEEE PVSC) merge into a global photovoltaic energy technical forum: the World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion. In 2018 the WCPEC-7, that combines the 45th IEEE PVSC, the 28th PVSEC and the 34th EU PVSEC, returns to the birth place of the World Conferences and will be held June 10-15, 2018, at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort and Conference facility on the Big Island of Hawaii.

The WCPECs have a rich tradition of bringing together, students, innovators, and leaders in PV into a vibrant and highly integrative forum that is conducive to sharing information, gaining knowledge, strengthening collaborations and moving forward the science and technology of Photovoltaics from basic and applied research into large scale manufacturing and deployments. This year’s technical program encompasses 10 abstract submission areas that cover the entire spectrum of technical activities in photovoltaic science and engineering and is expected to provide a unique opportunity to share and discuss the latest PV-related developments in what would be the world largest and most influential forum of the end of this decade. The abstract submission deadline is January 22, 2018.

In addition to an exceptional Technical Program, WCPEC 7 will cater our attendees to a variety of educational and outreach activities; including an exciting Tutorial Program, taught by world’s leading PV specialists. The WCPEC 7 has also engineered number of general public educational and outreach events across the island, like high school solar competitions and a Solar Day, to help enhance the public understanding of solar energy and to share our PV mission and passion with local communities.

The conference Exhibition will showcase the latest developments in PV characterization and manufacturing equipment, and is set to further enhance attendee awareness on latest tools and instrumentation as well as to facilitate exchange between scientists, technical experts and exhibitors.

Finally, don’t miss out on the opportunities offered by the conference social gatherings and networking events to get to know better your colleagues, reconnect with old friends and make new ones.

On behalf of the International Advisory board of WCPEC, and the Organizing, International and Advisory committees of the 45th IEEE PVSC, the 28th PVSEC and the 34th EU PVSEC we look forward to welcoming you to the WCPEC-7 in Hawaii!

[征文范围及要求]

Short Abstract Format

The Short Abstract should give a brief summary of the topics and main conclusions of the paper and presentation, and must be 300 words or fewer in length. The Short Abstract will be viewable for accepted papers at the conference website, and will be linked to the paper title in the Conference Program to give conference goers more detail on your paper, and help plan which technical sessions to attend.

Evaluation Document Format

The 3-page Evaluation Document is the most essential part of your abstract submission, since it is the part that will be reviewed by the Program Committee. To help them with their assessment of your paper, please make sure that your Evaluation Document is no more than 3 pages in length, and includes these main points:

Full title of the paper

Full author list and affiliation

Introduction or background of the paper topic

Main experimental and/or theoretical results

Analysis of the results, clear exposition of the main findings

Discussion of the significance of the work for the field

Summary of the work
