CARBON 2018 will take place in Madrid. The Conference aims to provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments on carbon science and applications. We trust that you will enjoy the Conference and that the interaction with colleagues worldwide will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas.
We also hope you enjoy your visit to Madrid, a cosmopolitan and friendly city with enjoyable day and night life. It is known for its rich historic, cultural and artistic heritage, as well as its traditional cuisine. The city has an efficient public transportation network and Madrid-Barajas Airport has direct and connecting flights to all points around the world.
Format of abstracts
The title of the presentation should reflect the content of the abstract as much as possible.
The abstract shall have a maximum of 250 words (excluding the title, authors’ names and affiliation) and shall not contain quotes or references.
Each abstract should contain 4 keywords.
Please do not to use abbreviations, unless necessary. Do not include figures or tables, and do not send attachments, slides or any reference material.
Indicate in which topic you would like your work to be included (see the list of topics).
COMMUNICATIONS-ORAL PRESENTATION
Oral presentations provide an opportunity to present research or experiment results.
The use of PowerPoint is recommended.
The authors of each paper must deliver the file with the PowerPoint presentation of their work to the Technical Secretariat of the Headquarters of the Conference in order to record it in the computer of the room, verify that it works and have it available at the time of the Intervention. This will save time and avoid setbacks.
POSTER
Posters should be no larger than A0 size (portrait), to be stuck to an allocated poster board and presented during allocated poster session/s.
Delegates will be able to view all posters throughout the duration of the event.
