The Laboratory for Multifunctional Materials was established in 2007 in the Department of Materials at ETH Zurich. We are an international team of chemists, physicists and materials scientists working on the wet-chemical synthesis of a broad range of functional materials for possible applications in energy storage and conversion, sensing, optics, and (photo)catalysis. In particular, we are specialized on the nonaqueous synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles.
